Monday's volunteer graduation was a chance for Rachel Patton to share some of her experience, but also to be presented

with the Volunteers Cup 2019 after she was unable to attend our AGM.

Rachel joined the Home-Start family in 2011, after retiring from her life-long career as a Children’s Nurse. She had found out about our work when, as a nurse, some of the families she worked with, had received our support.

Over the last 8 years, Rachel has been a committed volunteer who has demonstrated such care and compassion towards the families she has visited. She has reliably and consistently supported 12 families during her time with us, and her families have loved her!
