Massive congratulations and thanks to Anna Vorster, who completed Race to the King for us last weekend. 

She told us, “I did it - 101.5km over two days. That's a lot of steps! It felt like a really long way but the sun was shining and the South Downs scenery is beautiful. My feet are now held together with plasters but it was worth it.”  

That's a huge achievement in itself, but she has also raised £950 for us, smashing her target of £600. Added to the £1,400 she had already raised by running two half marathons for us over the last six months that's a phenomenal £2,350. 

With more families needing our help than usual, many facing a complex mix of problems, this additional funding is so welcome.
