Two of the people who ran Reading Half Marathon for us last year have kindly volunteered to take part in another event for us this year. 

Taking place on Saturday 15 May, Goring Gap Run includes a 50K ultra marathon and a half marathon - both circular routes through the Chilterns, starting and finishing in Mapledurham.

Mark Peto, director of Nicholas Estates & NEA Lettings, has entered the ultra marathon. It's going to be more of a challenge than he had anticipated when he signed up, following a slow recovery from Covid, which saw him struggling to climb the stairs, let alone run. 

Anna Vorster, founding partner at Drive UK Consulting will be running the half marathon. She said, "I imagine you must be finding fundraising quite hard at the moment as everyone I know seems to be contributing towards funds for Ukrainian refugees. It’s important to keep local charities running too."
