We are pleased to announce that the Elizabeth Jane Foundation has made a contribution of £2,000.00 towards our home-visiting co-ordinator (health specialist) role.  We are luckily to have Marion, our co-ordinator who has over 20 years of practice nurse experience.  Marion prepares health and well-being topics in line with NHS and Health England guidelines and cascades the information directly into the homes of our supported families and into our two family groups.  She pitches the information at a level suited to each family and is available to answer any questions that they have.  This project aims to help educate the parents to make the right health and well-being choices for their and their children's benefit.  With their new knowledge and with our assistance they access more services which helps reduce the high level of health inequalities experienced by the less affluent families here in Reading.
