Thanks to lots of hard work by Julie & Marion (our Family Coordinators) to insure that running the prep course in person wouldn't pose a Covid risk, we are so pleased to say that today the latest group of fantastic individuals met for the first time to start their training to be home-visiting volunteers. Here is some feedback from the first session: "A great start, thank you Marion and Julie. A warm & friendly approach". "I very much enjoyed meeting everybody. The session was very informative and I felt comfortable speaking in a group scenario." "Social distancing measures were great". "Given all of the current restrictions, I feel the course was very well run." We're so pleased that the course has been able to go ahead, and grateful as always to the individuals giving up their time to support families in need. Quite simply, without our volunteers we wouldn't be able to provide the help that so many families need.
