The new mayor of Reading, Cllr Tony Jones, has chosen Home-Start Reading as one of his three charities for 2014-2015. The other two are Reading Refugee Support Group and Help for Heroes. In his address at the Mayor making on 11th June he stressed that his focus during the year would be areas of need in Reading. He commended Home-Start Reading’s work with their support and friendship to families going through difficult times.
