In order to "break the ice" between a carefully matched, trained volunteer and a newly supported family, we provide Treasure Bags!  These bags contain art and craft materials, books and toys.  It does not take long for the supported children to want to know what their volunteer has in their bag each week!

It's with great thanks to Reading Rotary Club, for their £1,000 donation, that we have been able to replace items for these bags, so we that there will be many more excited, supported children in Reading.

The remaining money was used to replace broken toys, at our weekly Family Group in Whitley.  The children here have free access to outside space and developmental activities whilst the parents receive confidential and non-judgmental support.
