Runners raised a fantastic £800 for Home-Start Reading, in My Sporting Times’s “Gut Buster Event” at the end of December 2015. Andy MaCaskill, Events Manager of My Sporting Times said,

“We have been delighted to raise money for the wonderful local charity Home-Start Reading over the past two years, and our runners clearly have a great regard for the charity too. The Gut Buster event, in its fifth year in 2015, saw 700 runners tackle our popular multi terrain course around the countryside near Mortimer & Silchester. The more mud and water the better so it seems! The 2016 edition of the Gut Buster run will take place on Saturday December 31st and will be as much fun as ever; online entries will open by the end of January via www.thegutbuster.co.uk and you can donate to Home-Start Reading as you enter.”
